Homes for our Troops

Homes for Our Troops, founded in 2004, is strongly committed to helping those who have selflessly given to their country and have returned home with serious disabilities and injuries. We assist severely injured servicemen and women and their immediate families by raising donations of money, building materials and professional labor and then coordinating the process of building a new home or adapting an existing home for handicapped accessibility. The finished home is then given to the veteran. All services provided by Homes for Our Troops are at no cost to the veterans we serve.main top banner 750x120

One Acre Fund

One Acre Fund is an agriculture nonprofit that provides smallholder farmers in East Africa with the tools they need to achieve food security and increase their incomes. We currently work with 137,000 farm families in Kenya, Rwanda, and Burundi. We serve small-scale farmers. In everything we do, we place the farmer first. We measure success in our ability to make more farmers more prosperous. One Acre empowers farm households that own approximately one acre of land. These poor families, many headed by women, spend several months of the year in a "hunger season." Most are growing just a fraction of the food their land could produce.
